Cen Long's Oeuvre S1 EP7 River Crossing
"The image of crossing the river is mainly intended to depict a lively moment. It's about her lifting her skirt and cautiously stepping across the small river, as the water flows. It's probably such a scene where she carefully tests the depth of the water step by step to cross the river. In essence, what I want to portray is the unadorned, plain spirit. This kind of simple spirit sustains the laboring people at the bottom, who harbor aspirations and desires for a better life. The simple survival spirit of these grassroots people forms a strong will to survive for the nation. This is the spirit of the people. That's what I want to convey."
